Post Title: Two Published Articles for RP Awareness
This February, in honor of Retinitis Pigmentosa Awareness Month, I challenged myself to write two articles for the American Printing House for the Blind. Both of my posts have to do with my cashiering. I hope you will find each informative and entertaining. I wrote them to encourage others with sight issues. But also, to let people understand what it’s like to live with vision impairment-but not give up.
In my first article, I use humor to illustrate my day-to-day job “performance.”
Congratulations on being published and kudos for sharing your stories. Being vulnerable helps others to have the courage to try. God bless, and keep writing.
Thank you for helping all of us to be more aware of RP. And thank you for keeping your sense of humor in spite of RP.

Loved both of your articles! The first one had me laughing – thank you for that. You are an inspiration and Giant Eagle is lucky to have you. Glad you’re able to educate others about RP and hopefully encourage those with vision and/or hearing loss.
