Seeing and Hearing “Firsts”

Videos that Will Touch Your Heart

Sometimes it’s just nice to take a few minutes to relax and see good things happening around us. Because I struggle with vision and hearing loss, these videos made me smile this morning. Hope they do you too.

(1) You’ve got to see this baby’s first reaction to seeing!

Video with Baby Receiving New Glasses

(2) The precious reaction of a 4-year-old who hears her voice for the first time

(3) This woman was nervous about hearing her son’s voice for the first time. Find out why.

(4) Great stories! I loved the one with the little girl seeing rain for the first time.

Which video and stories did you enjoy the most?

What beautiful videos. I loved them all. That woman who was afraid to hear her son’s voice made me cry and, after that, I couldn’t stop crying tears of joy. The looks on the faces, the smiles, the pure happiness… it was sheer delight. Thank you for sharing this. These were all happy tears. I hope that you are having a great day.

These are great examples of emotionally appealing visual content, Amy. 😉

In between sniffles from teary eyes, I like the first one of the 4 year pld girl the best. So touching. I could hear her mommy crying off to the side. Thank you for sharing. People don’t know how truly blessed they are.

Praise God. I remember when my son got his first pair of glasses and was reading all the street signs to me on the way home. It was so exciting.

Thank you for sharing these special first moments on video. I’m crying happy tears. 🙂

    Hi Alice,
So glad they touched you! I liked the man who hadn’t heard his wife’s voice in ten years, too!
Today is going well, thanks. Every time I see your last name, I think of the town where I grew up: “Girard,” just one letter different from your name. Perhaps it’s a variation. Hmmm. 🙂 It would be fun to research it. I’ll let you know what I find out if I ever find the time! 🙂

Beautiful stories in all three videos. My favorite two are the first video of the little girl giggling that she can hear her own voice, and the guy with the bionic eye who saw his wife again. Thanks for sharing these.
